adstream expands its out-of-home destinations after signing partnership with PumpTV
Australia’s advertising distribution and workflow specialist, adstream, today announced that it has partnered with digital petrol station TV network PumpTV for the digital delivery of TV commercials.
PumpTV is Australia’s first and only digital petrol station TV network that utilises an exclusive content partnership with Seven Network and Yahoo!7. Delivering directly to 19” sunlight readable LCD screens (with full audio) installed at petrol stations throughout Australia, PumpTV was launched in October 2009 by United Digital Media.
“adstream’s agreement with Pump TV expands its out-of-home destinations and follows our recent partnership with oOh! Media for an online file delivery service for outdoor print ads,” adstream Managing Director Peter Miller said.
“We have taken extra steps to implement our nVerge technology in order to streamline the workflow required for PumpTV screens that sit above petrol pumps,” Miller added.
PumpTV National Sales Manager Teyghan Stadelbauer said: “The partnership with adstream will help us achieve our core objective for advertisers – verifiable advertising that reaches millions of highly engaged consumers per month whilst they fill their vehicles at the pump. This partnership will allow for efficient and secure digital delivery of TV commercials that will be scheduled for full viewing; ensuring each commercial is seen in the right format and at the right time.”
PumpTV initially launched through Coles Express, rolling out over 240 screens in Melbourne and Sydney by the end of 2009. The company plans to roll out screens to over 400 petrol stations with more than 4,800 LCD TVs nationally over the next two years.
PumpTV screens offer unique advertising opportunities in formats such as 15 and 30 seconds TVCs and animation "wraps" that wrap around the news content, available in 10 and 20 seconds increments.
