Announcing the appointment, group publishing and sales director of ACP Women’s Lifestyle, Lynette Phillips, said Lisa’s appointment was one of a number of major changes that would be made with NW.

“We are planning a number of exciting changes to NW including a major redesign, and a major upgrade of the editorial content, and what will be a relaunch of the product in the New Year.

“We are very confident that Lisa has the skills to take NW to a new level.

“She has done an outstanding job on Grazia in shaping the tone of the pages and she has worked closely with Alison Veness-McGourty, who will also be involved in the new look NW in 2010. They have a range of exciting ideas that we believe will bring new vigour to NW.”

Lisa has extensive experience in the media in Australia and in the UK, including stints on The Daily Telegraph, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Manly Daily and The Sun and The Mail on Sunday in the UK.

Alison Veness-McGourty will remain as editor-in-chief of Grazia and editorial director of Harper’s BAZAAR.

Former editor of NW, Louise Oswald, will move to a new role working within the Women’s Lifestyle group.
